Here are the latest Leeds United evening headlines on Friday, 18 November 2022.
Caprile told of 'limitless future'
Former Italy international Antonio Di Gennaro believes ex-Leeds United goalkeeper Elia Caprile has a 'limitless future'. Caprile left Leeds permanently for Serie B side Bari in the summer and has been earning some positive reviews after establishing himself as first choice.
The 21-year-old was never handed a first team opportunity at Leeds due to Illan Meslier's form but earned his move to Bari after impressing on loan at Pro Patria. Speaking to Italian outlet Tutto Bari, De Gennaro believes a bright future is in store for Caprile.
He said: “Usually, goalkeepers are a guarantee from 25. He is already safe, despite being in his first season in Serie B. His time at Leeds has greatly matured him. I see a limitless future for him."

Adams quotes
Tyler Adams has admitted he has been surprised at just how big of a club Leeds United is since his summer arrival at Elland Road. Adams made the switch from Red Bull Leipzig during the window and has slotted into the side seamlessly, establishing himself quickly as a fan favourite.
The 23-year-old has started 13 of Leeds' 14 Premier League matches so far this season and his arrival came just a matter of days after Kalvin Phillips left for Manchester City. On early evidence, Adams has not felt the pressure of coming in to replace Phillips, and has arguably been Leeds' player of the season so far.
Speaking in a press conference on Thursday, Adams discussed his initial thoughts of when he knew about Leeds' interest in the summer and admitted while he was well clued up about the club, the fans and culture has still been a shock.
He said: “When Leeds came calling, I knew a lot about the club through the documentary, and the history of the club. I didn’t completely understand the gratitude of how big the club is. The fans, the culture is a completely different level.”

2023 contracts
The six-week World Cup break could hand the people upstairs at Leeds United the time to address the current contract situation. The Whites have been known to announce new deals for players in batches, none more so that in the summer when Joe Gelhardt, Crysencio Summerville and Sam Greenwood all pen-to-paper on long term contracts on the same day.
Many of Leeds' biggest decisions will not arrive until 2024, with Pascal Struijk, Jack Harrison, Robin Koch and Liam Cooper among several whose deals are set to expire that summer. On the contrary, in 2023 there are just three first team players who will be out of contract.
Two of those are from the 2020 promotion winning team, but have seen their roles reduced this season, while the other is a recent summer signing. So, with that in mind, here is a look at the trio Leeds face a decision over, and which way it could go.
