Leeds United loanee Tyler Roberts has outlined the strengths of Marcelo Bielsa's Championship winning team of 2019/20, as he looks to get another promotion from the second tier under his belt.
Roberts joined QPR on a season-long this summer, and the London club have the option to make the deal permanent if they win promotion this term. The Wales international made his first start for QPR on Tuesday evening in their 1-0 defeat to Blackpool after impressing off the bench in his previous two outings.
The 23-year-old played an important role in the Whites' title-winning season under Bielsa. He made 23 league appearances, featuring in each of their last 11 games. Roberts scored four goals, including in Leeds' final day win over Charlton Athletic, where they got their hands on the Championship trophy.

“I think that the main thing we had at Leeds was standards," Roberts said in QPR's matchday programme for their game vs Blackpool.
"There wasn’t a lot of shouting and stuff but everyone knew that every day in training, every point and every match counts from the beginning.
“The Championship is up and down but we had that hunger to fight for every single point. Because we’d been in a good position and blown up the year before, when things started to go wrong we really had to come together as a squad and persist in our style of play.
“In the end we showed our experience by winning all of the last three games and finishing 10 points clear. We definitely had learning experiences then and I’m confident we can be right up there this season.
“Last season, before Christmas, I know QPR looked on course to be promoted and the manager’s drummed into us that we need to be bang on every minute of every game. It’s about having belief and when things go down you have to come together as a group and fight for every point.”
