Leeds United loanee Lewis Bate will face a new test at Oxford United, after manager Karl Robinson was relieved of his duties at the Kassam Stadium.

Leo Hjelde was restored to the starting line-up for Rotherham's 2-1 victory over fellow Leeds loanee Gelhardt's Sunderland at the New York Stadium.

Alfie McCalmont started back-to-back games for Carlisle United for the first time in their sensational 5-2 triumph at League Two strugglers Crawley Town.

Ian Poveda was replaced after 69 minutes during Blackpool's 3-1 defeat at the hands of Reading at the Madejski Stadium.

The Cumbrians leapfrogged Stevenage to climb into second place, and boast a three-point cushion over fourth-place Northampton Town in the race for automatic promotion.

Stuart McKinstry started his third straight game on the bench in Motherwell's 1-1 draw at Kilmarnock. Motherwell had gone 11 league games without a win prior to McKinstry's omission, but have collected seven points from their last three matches.
