Leeds United will play Boreham Wood or Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup fourth round - providing they beat Cardiff City at the second time of asking. The Whites needed a 93rd-minute equaliser to force a replay at Elland Road.
In truth, Leeds should have won the game as Rodrigo missed a late penalty to punish 10-man Cardiff. Mateo Joseph, too, blundered a huge opportunity to pull Leeds level from close range.
However, Sonny Perkins - who bagged his first senior goal for the club - was on hand to spare his teammates' blushes and keep the FA Cup dream alive. Jesse Marsh's side will now head to either non-league Boreham Wood or to League One side Accrington Stanley should they beat the Bluebirds in the replay.
If Leeds are victorious in their replay, this would see them end a streak of five consecutive FA Cup third round defeat.
The fourth round ties are scheduled to be played between January 27-30.
