Leeds United have been handed a summer transfer boost after it was reported Liverpool are not interested in Portuguese winger Otavio. Otavio is said to be a target for Leeds who are looking to reinforce their attacking options ahead of the upcoming Premier League campaign.
With Raphinha looking set to depart Elland Road, quality out wide to replace the Brazilian is a must for Leeds this summer. Previously, Portuguese outlet O Jogo reported Leeds had made a €30m bid for the winger who made 49 appearances for Porto last season.
It was said this bid was rejected, with the 27-year-old's release fee clause set at €60m.

At €60m, Otavio would seem an unlikely signing for Leeds, who would be unwilling to shell out so much money on a player who turns 28 in February.
However, Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano took to twitter to clear up what Otavio's actual release fee clause was and that Liverpool are not interested in signing the Porto winger this summer - which would give Leeds a big boost should they choose to pursue him.
Romano tweeted: "Both Liverpool and Porto deny all the stories about Otávio deal. There are no negotiations ongoing - also, the release clause is €40m and not €60m. #LFC
"Otávio and Wijnaldum are not in the list for Liverpool as things stand - still long market, but no talks for these two."
