Leeds United will make the trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the third round of the Carabao Cup. The match with Bruno Lage's side and the rest of the third-round ties are scheduled to be played on the week commencing 7 November in what is a repeat of the opening day and one of seven all Premier League ties.
Leeds secured their passage into the next round of the competition this evening thanks to a 3-1 win over Barnsley. Luis Sinisterra and Mateusz Klich (2) were both on the score sheet for the Whites, who were pegged back to 2-1 in the first half thanks to Mads Andersen’s goal.
Wolves, meanwhile, defeated Championship side Preston North End 2-1 on Tuesday night to progress to the third round. Raul Jimenez and Adama Traore were on the scoresheet at Molineux.
