Leeds United could be handed a major boost going into their Premier League match against league leaders Arsenal on Sunday with the Gunners potentially headed to Elland Road without star striker Gabriel Jesus.
The Brazilian was absent from the North London outfit's squad that beat Norwegian side Bødo/Glimt 1-0 in the Europa League on Thursday evening having felt discomfort after their 3-2 victory over Liverpool last Sunday.
Speaking to the media ahead of his side's trip to Yorkshire this weekend, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta said when asked about Jesus' availability: "I don’t know, obviously he has some discomfort after the game against Liverpool and that’s why we decided not to bring him in [to Norway], so let's see how he is tomorrow [Friday] and Saturday."

The 25-year-old joined from Manchester City in the summer and has scored five goals and recorded five assists in 11 appearances across all competitions with the North London outfit top of the Premier League, taking 24 points from a possible 27 whilst also winning all three of their Europa League matches so far.
There is no doubt that not having Jesus will be a major blow for Arsenal whilst being a huge boost for Jesse Marsch's Leeds who will be looking to put an end to a run of five league matches without a win.
The Whites have taken just two points from a possible 15 over their last five outings in the top flight and will undoubtedly be keen to turn that form around with the break imposed as a result of the World Cup less than a month away.
