Here are the latest Leeds United transfer rumours on Monday, 13 June 2022.
Leeds to miss out on Garner
Leeds United are set to miss out on the signing of long term target James Garner this summer, according to footballtransfers. The Whites have been linked with the Manchester United midfielder for a number of months, with Everton also thought to be keen.
However, the Red Devils do not want to lose Garner on a permanent deal and so are likely to loan him back out to Nottingham Forest, where he played a key role in last season’s promotion to the Premier League. It is likely that new Man United boss Erik ten Hag will have a look at him in pre-season first, though, before making a final decision on whether to let him leave temporarily.
Grillitsch race
Fiorentina are currently leading the race to sign Leeds United-linked midfielder Florian Grillitsch this summer. That is according to
, who claims that while talks have taken place between Grillitsch and the Italian side, no agreement has yet been reached.

That could allow Leeds to swoop in, with the Whites reportedly keen on signing the Austria international, who is set to leave Hoffenheim on a free transfer. Arsenal and Newcastle United are also said to be keeping tabs on the situation, though neither have made a move yet.
Could Man United’s de Jong move fund Barcelona Raphinha deal?
Manchester United are reportedly 'in talks' with Barcelona over a move for Frenkie de Jong in a deal which could pave the way for Raphinha to join the Spanish club. The Red Devils have been trying to get a deal over the line for some time as new manager Erik Ten Hag sees the fellow Dutchman as the key to his side's midfield woes.
Barcelona have previously quoted around €80 million (£68.3m) for the midfielder, with a sale potentially funding their future move for Leeds winger Raphinha. The 21-year-old scored 11 goals and racked up three assists in the Premier League last season, attracting major interest from Xavi's side who have placed him at the top of their transfer list.
