Leeds United finally confirm general sale date of new home strip after supply delays

Leeds United have confirmed the club’s 2022/23 home kit will go on general sale at 9am on Wednesday 24 August. The Whites unveiled the shirt all the way back in July during the club’s pre-season tour of Australia but have suffered with some major supply issues over the summer.

A severe Covid outbreak in Singapore, where the kits are manufactured, were the cause of the initial hold up. A boat coming in from south-east Asia holding several shipping containers of the club’s home strip then plummeted into the sea which sparked an even further delay.

But fans will now finally be able to purchase the new home strip starting from tomorrow. A club statement read: “Leeds United are pleased to announce that our adidas home kit for the 2022/23 campaign will be available to purchase from Wednesday 24th August online at shop.leedsunited.com and in all official Leeds United retail stores.
