Two Yorkshire-based friendlies have been confirmed for Leeds United around their trip to Australia ahead of the new Premier League season. Blackpool will visit the City of York Council’s LNER Stadium on July 7 before Cagliari visit Elland Road on July 31.
The Whites will have five friendlies open to the public for the summer with these two in the UK added to the three which will be played Down Under. Aston Villa, Brisbane Roar and Crystal Palace await Jesse Marsch’s side in Australia.
The pre-season campaign will begin for fans with the Championship’s Tangerines, including Oliver Casey, in York for a 7pm kick-off next week. Tickets are on sale from 4pm on June 28.

After the triple-header in Australia, Marsch’s side will return for a final match at Elland Road one week before Wolverhampton Wanderers see in the start of the season in West Yorkshire. Cagliari, relegated to Serie B last season, will kick off at 6pm with ticket information available in due course.
