Leeds United fans have called on Jesse Marsch to make wholesale changes for this evening’s Carabao Cup second round tie with Barnsley. The Whites will be looking to build on the momentum generated from their opening three Premier League matches against the Tykes, as they sit third in the table with seven points.
Marsch has so far kept changes at a minimum for Leeds in the opening weeks of the season, but supporters would like to see some squad rotation against their League One opponents. That starts in goal, with Kristoffer Klaesson getting his full senior debut after joining last summer.
In defence, Cody Drameh and Leo Hjelde have been given the nod at full back in place of Rasmus Kristensen and Pascal Struijk. Robin Koch is the only player to keep his place from the 3-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday and is partnered by Liam Cooper – fitness providing.

Adam Forshaw, Sam Greenwood and Mateusz Klich – all of whom came off the bench against Thomas Tuchel’s side – start in midfield, with Tyler Adams, Marc Roca and Brenden Aaronson all dropping out of the XI.
Crysencio Summerville and Luis Sinisterra have been backed to start on either wing, with the latter earning his first start since his summer move from Feyenoord. Joe Gelhardt completes the XI as he leads the line in place of the inform Rodrigo Moreno.
