The majority of Leeds United supporters are convinced Marcelo Bielsa would have been able to keep the club in the Premier League.
The Whites head coach of the last three-and-a-half years was relieved of his duties on the back of a really poor run of form.
Leeds picked up just one point in five games throughout February and broke the unwanted record for most Premier League goals conceded in a single month after shipping 20 goals.

Despite this, the vast majority of the club’s fans are unhappy with the decision to remove Bielsa from his position as head coach.
Jesse Marsch has already been appointed his successor but faces the tough task of, not only keeping his new side in the top flight, but also winning over the fans.
He has 12 games left of the season to achieve the former, a feat that the majority of supporters feel would have happened had Bielsa remained at the helm.
In a survey ran by LeedsLive following the announcement of his departure, 72.1% of the 8,000+ participants believed safety would have been achieved with the Argentine.
It highlights, despite poor form, just how confident fans at Elland Road were of being able to stay in the Premier League for the second time.
A similar portion of fans believed the decision to sack Bielsa was incorrect. Just over two thirds of the participants (67.7%) answered ‘no’ when asked ‘are Leeds right to part company with Marcelo Bielsa?’
During his tenure, he became one of the greatest managers in the club’s history thanks to everything he was able to achieve and bring to the club and city.
Promotion from the Championship and an excellent first season back in the big time were the highlights and those campaigns have consolidated him in many people’s hearts and minds as one of the all-time greats.
In response to the question ‘where does Bielsa rank in an all-time list of Leeds managers?’, 43% fans answered by claiming he was the second best, the most popular response.
The second most popular saw 26.1% of participants claim he was the greatest in the club’s history. Unsurprisingly, only 0.8% believe the 66-year-old to be outside the top five in the all-time standings.
For the supporters at Elland Road, they will be hoping that Marsch is able to replicate, and even supersede, the success enjoyed by Bielsa.
