With the news Kalvin Phillips is edging closer to joining Premier League champions Manchester City, Leeds United look set to be flush with cash to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season. Leeds and Man City have agreed a fee of £42m with add-ons for the England international, leaving the Whites with a substantial amount to replace Phillips in their starting line-up.
Additionally, with Raphinha also set to depart Elland Road, the Whites could have just over £100m in the clubs coffers to play with. Leeds are not expected to lower their demands for the Brazilian, with the Whites hierarchy asking for around £60m for the mercurial winger.
That leaves plenty of questions to be asked about Leeds' transfer strategy this summer.
