The transfer window slammed shut on Tuesday night and it’s fair to say Leeds United can be happy with their business after going against their usual position and committing to spend a significant amount to strengthen. Four new signings came through the door at Elland Road, with Max Wober, Georginio Rutter, Weston McKennie and Diogo Monteiro arriving over the course of the month.
United did say farewell to a few players with Mateusz Klich and Diego Llorente amongst the club’s most high profile departures. On the whole, though, Leeds will feel confident that they ended January with a stronger squad than they started it.
