Leeds United have issued a brief statement on their website this morning detailing a second loan exit of the January transfer window.
Josh Galloway has joined Northern Premier League outfit FC United of Manchester on a deal until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old follows fellow youngster Cody Drameh out after the England U21 right-back opted to join Cardiff City for the remainder of the 20201/22 campaign.
Ryan Edmondson has also left the club on a temporary deal this month, joining League Two Port Vale until May.
Marcelo Bielsa has always stated he will not stand in the way of young players who envisage their future elsewhere, including those who wish to 'experiment' elsewhere.
In Galloway's case, the midfielder has hardly featured for the club's U23 side over the past season and a half, and is therefore in need of game-time.
"Josh Galloway has joined FC United of Manchester on loan until the end of the season," a statement from Leeds United read.
"The 20-year-old, who joined Leeds from Carlisle United in 2019 makes the move across the Pennines, with the Reds sitting in ninth spot in the Pitching In Northern Premier League.
"We wish Josh good luck during his time at Broadhurst Park."
Galloway's last involvement for the U23 side at Leeds came in November 2020. In total, he has made three Premier League 2 appearances and scored one goal.
The Scotsman's contract at Leeds expires in June 2022.
