Delays mean Leeds United will not be able to sell their new kit until August, though a July unveiling has been confirmed along with a first match for the new number. Adidas has apologised to supporters for the challenges it has faced in bringing this new design to market.
SBOTOP will remain as the main shirt sponsor, but other than Adidas’s three stripes there is nothing else known about the 22/23 kit Leeds will wear. Anticipation has ramped up over the course of the summer, but the manufacturer has now admitted there will be delays.
The Whites plan to unveil the new kit in the second week of July before the players wear it in a match for the first time against Brisbane Road on July 14. While there is no date for the kit going on sale, Leeds have advised it will be August.

A spokesperson for Adidas said: “As a result of unprecedented challenges over the past year, we expect to see a delay to Leeds United’s 2022/23 match and training wear. We understand and apologise for any frustration felt by fans at this time.
“We’re working hard with Leeds United to find the best solution on delivering the product as soon we can. More information will be provided soon.”
A Leeds statement said: “Leeds United can confirm that our 2022/23 kit will go on sale to supporters in August. The 2022/23 home kit will be revealed during the second week of July and the men’s first team will debut the exciting new kit in our friendly match with Brisbane Roar on July 14, 2022.”
