Leeds United captain Liam Cooper has admitted that he is ready to help his side "as much as possible" in their battle against relegation after returning from injury.
Cooper has struggled with injury this season from the start as the Scot only played his first minutes for the Whites in October. He would feature in a run of 12 consecutive top-flight matches until another fitness struggle in February saw him sidelined again until the recent international break.
The Leeds man was an unused substitute for Scotland's 3-0 win over Spain but came on for a vital cameo in the final stages of their 2-0 win over Spain to help see out the victory. Since returning from international duty, Cooper also briefly featured for Javi Gracia's side during the 4-1 defeat to Arsenal - again coming on late in the game.

Robin Koch and Pascal Struijk were favoured to start over Cooper for the 2-1 win against Nottingham Forest, but in his pre-match programme notes the Whites skipper insisted he was ready to give his all for his side in their battle to avoid relegation for the rest of the season.
“Over the international break, personally, it was great to be part of the Scotland squad getting back-to-back wins over Cyprus and Spain as we began our qualification process for Euro 2024. It was fantastic to get out on the pitch again after injury.
"Now I want to help Leeds as much as possible in these huge final 10 matches we have between now and the end of the season."
