Leeds United captain Liam Cooper has revealed how the back end of last season and the Whites' preseason tour of Australia have helped them make a positive start to this campaign
Cooper, who has made 247 appearances for the Whites while scoring nine goals and managing seven assists in the process, spoke to the Official Leeds United Podcast about what leadership is like being the club captain.
Manager Jesse Marsch joined Leeds after the club parted ways with manager of four years Marcelo Bielsa and Cooper said that the trip that took them across Australia to play three friendly matches in Queensland and Perth helped the squad in resetting them from the previous year.

"When we got together at the start of this season, that's something that immediately came to my mind about last season was that we never got going. It took us four or five games to get our first point and we couldn't get out of it.
"You can't just click your fingers and snap out of it, it keeps rolling and rolling and rolling. When you go on trips, you get time to mingle, find out about each other, we were up against good quality which is always nice.
"It's easier for the younger lads to get into the group, get them doing some initiation songs so that side of it was great. Obviously for me, the football side of it wasn't great but to be around the boys, it's always nice to get away on trips."
