Leeds United surrendered a lead three times against Tottenham Hotspur as they lost 4-3 in their final Premier League game before the World Cup.
Here's the winners and losers from the contest
Winners
Crysencio Summerville
The youngster is quite simply on fire. Summerville travelled to north London full of confidence having scored three goals in his last three Premier League games and it didn’t take him long to extend that record.
Latching onto a ball from Brenden Aaronson, Summerville controlled the ball superbly before carrying the ball beyond the defender and lashing it beyond the onrushing Hugo Lloris for his fourth goal in a Leeds shirt. That came just 10 minutes into the contest and in bagging the goal, he became the first man since Ross McCormack in March 2014 to score in four straight league games for the Whites.

However, that feat was matched by his Leeds teammate just half an hour later.
Rodrigo
It must be said, Rodrigo had a quiet first half in north London. The Spain international was marked out of the game for large periods and he was forced to drop deep in order to get a feel of the ball.
However, when a chance fell his way, he didn’t hesitate to fire it beyond Lloris and into the back of the net, just before the break. Tottenham were in the act of clearing their lines following a corner when Rasmus Kristensen headed the ball back into the area and as the ball dropped, Rodrigo was there to take the shot on the volley and beat the French keeper.
The Spaniard put Leeds 3-2 ahead in the second half with his second of the game, drilling the ball home from a tight angle. That’s nine Premier League goals for the season now, a total only Erling Haaland, Harry Kane and Ivan Toney have bettered.
Mateo Joseph
After making his Leeds debut on Wednesday night against Wolves, the striker emerged off the bench late to make his Premier League debut as Marsch’s side chased the game. He had a couple of touches, but couldn’t make a lasting impression on the contest.
He’s enjoyed a fine couple of weeks, though, and it bodes well for him after the international break.
Losers
Wilfried Gnonto
The Italy international was handed his first start for the Whites at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after his excellent showing off the bench against Bournemouth last week. However, it’s fair to say his full debut didn’t go to plan.
Gnonto pressed well during his time on the field, but he also picked up a few knocks and looked to be struggling as the half-time period approached. He was replaced by Sam Greenwood at the break.
Tyler Adams
Cut a frustrated figure as the game unravelled for Leeds and invited the referee to send him off after committing a second yellow card offence in the dying minutes of the game. The American played well for the most part and helped Leeds look the better side for large periods, but he’ll miss the clash against Manchester City in December when the Whites return to action.
Defence
It’s been Leeds' downfall before this season, but mistakes at the back cost the Whites late on at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Whites were winning with 10 minutes to go, but sloppy defending from the likes of Robin Koch, Liam Cooper and Pascal Struijk opened the door for Spurs to make a late comeback.
Marsch has just less than seven weeks now to shore up his side's back line and prevent his side from leaking quite so many goals.
