Here are your latest Leeds United transfer rumours for Wednesday, January 4.
Abdelhamid Sabiri
Leeds are lining up Sampdoria and Morocco midfielder Abdelhamid Sabiri as a replacement for Mateusz Klich, according to Italian publication Calciomercato.
Klich has been linked with a move to MLS outfit DC United, and is expected to leave Elland Road during the January transfer window.

Sampdoria want between £7m-£8.8m for Sabiri, although Leeds could reach an agreement between £5.3-£7m for the 26-year-old attacking midfielder.
The Whites will face competition from a number of Italian clubs, including Lazio, Fiorentina and Torino. Sabiri only made his international debut for Morocco in September, but starred in five games, as they became the first African nation to reach the World Cup semi-finals.
Sabiri played for Huddersfield Town in the Premier League, before going on to spend a season at SC Paderborn in the Bundesliga. He switched to Serie B side Ascoli in 2020 and then landed a return to top-flight football with Sampdoria, after an initially joining them on loan.
Jesus Vasquez
Leeds United's chances of signing Valencia defender Jesus Vazquez have been dealt a blow as the 20-year-old looks set to stay in Spain.
Radio Marca Valencia have claimed that Valencia have held talks with Vazquez and 'convinced' the youngster to remain at the Mestalla.
Vazquez had been linked with a move elsewhere after struggling for game time under Gennaro Gattuso this term. A clause in his current contract stated that he could leave on loan if he did not play a certain number of minutes over a season.
Leeds were reportedly interested on securing his signature, along with Italian heavyweights Inter Milan. However, Vazquez and Valencia have allegedly come to an agreement, with Gattuso stating that he wants to give the left-back more game time.
Kalvin Phillips
West Ham United are interested in signing former Leeds United and current Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips, according to the Football Insider.
The Hammers were previously linked with a £50 million bid for the English international in January 2021, while he was still at Elland Road.
Instead, Phillips joined Man City in the summer but has played just one minute of Premier League action this term. With Rice looking poised for the London Stadium exit door in the summer, and Tomas Soucek struggling for form, a new midfielder will be high on David Moyes' shopping list.
The report adds that Phillips is highly rated by Moyes and is viewed as a replacement for Rice if he leaves. Phillips could also be available for less than the fee of £42m plus £3m add-ons that Man City paid Leeds back in the summer.
