Leeds have made eight signings and seen Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips leave in a summer of upheaval at Elland Road.
The comings and goings are not finished yet and Patrick Bamford's hamstring injury on Saturday has underlined their need for a striker to boost their attacking options.
Jesse Marsch claims they are looking for a frontman, but he is keen not to bring in someone who would block the progress of his young guns Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood. Leeds are also looking for a left-back with Junior Firpo out injured and Pascal Struijk has been deputising in that position.
