One of Leeds' most popular Wetherspoons is reopening its doors after a huge makeover.
The bar, which is often seen with crowds of people enjoying a crisp pint in the outside courtyard, has been shut for over six weeks. But this Friday, June 17, it is expected to be busier than ever as it reopens with a new look.
The Leeds City Station has undergone a refurbishment. £500,000 has be spent on improvements to the popular pub.

Customers can expect to see new decoration inside, and improvements and upgrades have been made to the male and female toilets. What's more, the bar has had a makeover, and new furniture has been installed.
For those who love the bargain food at Wetherspoons, the station branch of the chain restaurant now has a pizza oven. And it isn't the only branch which has seen a makeover recently.
J D Wetherspoon bought the former Harry Travis agricultural store building to the rear of the pub, as well as utilising a small outdoor courtyard area at the side of the building. In March, the Bowling Green in Otely underwent a £1.5million refurbishment.
The bar area has been moved to the back of the pub and the kitchen area has been expanded. On Tuesday March 15, Otley Town Mayor, Councillor Sylvia Thomson, officially opened the pub with a ribbon ceremony.
A total of 40 new jobs have been created following the refurbishment and existing staff, who were deployed to other local Wetherspoon pubs during the closure for the work, will return to complete the full team of 65 staff members.
Pub manager Rebekah Black said: "Wetherspoon has spent £1.5 million on the pub, providing further investment into the town, as well as new jobs for local people. The new-look extended pub will also prove a great asset to the business."
The Leeds City Station spot will reopen its doors on Friday June 17 from 7am, welcoming customers in to view the makeover.
