Temperatures in Leeds are going to be hot today despite a yellow warning for thunderstorms.
Today, people in Leeds woke up to temperatures of around 12C, as detected at the Bingley weather station. This rapidly increased throughout the morning to 13C at 7am, 15C at 8am, 18C at 10am and 19C at 11am.
Now, the weather is forecasted to reach 23C by midday as the thunderstorm warning comes in to place.

However, the sky will remain sunny in the early afternoon as temperatures reach 25C at 1pm. By 2pm the temperature will be 26C, increasing to 27C in the next hour.
The temperature will peak at 28c at 4pm before there is a chance of rainfall at 5pm until 6pm. During this period the temperature will drop to 27C and then 26C.
Throughout the evening, temperatures will continue to drop down to 25C at 8pm, then 24C at 9pm, 22C at 10pm and 21C at 11pm.
