Leeds students claim 'Peaky Minors' kids gang are causing chaos in house party streets

University students insist they aren't the ones behind a wave of anti-social behaviour causing a nuisance for residents and have instead pointed the finger at a group of kids.

Students living in Hyde Park, Leeds, have said it's children and 'scary locals' who cause the most disruption to the area - the gang of kids known to residents as the 'Peaky Minors' which they say are notorious for causing mayhem.

This comes after Leeds City Council shut down a student house party on Brudenell Mount in Hyde Park after it spilled into the street but according to residents the noisy house parties are the least of their worries.
