This discount store in Leeds is one of "Yorkshire’s best kept secrets" as it sells every item for less than a pound.
Four years ago Steve Nelson opened The 20p Shop, in Kirkgate, Otley, which sells all sorts of items including clothes, crockery, DVD’s, food, books, vinyls and more.
The shop is the only one of its kind and it manages to attract customers from all over the country.

Steve runs the shop with the help of volunteers including his friend Sue, Steve’s sister Angie and his son Stuart.
Despite the huge display of the shop's name, people often ask staff if everything really is only 20p.
“We’re not a charity,” market trader Steve said to Leeds Live. “Some people don’t get it, they believe you have to spend a fortune to make money but we’ve gone against the grain.
“It didn’t work on a market stall, you need a bit more space but people liked the idea, it helps everyone without the red tape.
“We’re probably one of the best kept secrets in Yorkshire, we’re liked by a lot of people.
“People travel from all over the country to come to the shop, they can’t believe there’s a 20p shop. They ask if everything is actually 20p. There’s nothing posh about us, we’re straightforward and it works. I think it works for people who don’t have a lot of money and there’s a lot of them at the moment.
“Everyone gets a chance, everyone is equal. Not everything has to be about money.
“You can help out people without making a song and dance about it.”
One of the items sold in the shop he revealed was a picture from the shop for just 20p but the customer took it to a Dog Rescue where it sold for £120.
When you walk into the store, you’re greeted with hundreds of items dotted around including thousands of greeting cards which take up a huge chunk of space.

Some of the items in the store are donated by people while others items such as food and chocolates are sourced out by Steve, however, some of them may be past the best before date.
This doesn’t deter people from coming and supporting the shop as they get a huge discount.
One of the problems Steve highlighted were people nicking items from the shop or others trying to buy items in bulk as there is “enough to share.”
“Everyone in the town comes to the 20p shop,” he added. “To get the atmosphere of the shop you’re better off coming in.
“If you come on a Saturday, it’s like a football match. Sometimes it will be throwing it down and the shop will still be full but there will be no one in the town.
“But one thing I don’t like is thieves, we get thieves in the shop and that takes away from other people. If they pinch a handful of cards, they’re taking away from stock that we have to replace.
“I can’t believe people nick stuff from a 20p shop but they do.”
The 20p Shop is located in Kirkgate, Otley and opens from 9.30am until 5pm from Monday to Saturday. They open on some Sundays.
