Leeds is set for a rainy bank holiday Monday, dashing anyone's hopes of outdoor plans as it gets warmer.
It's been a warmer Bank Holiday weekend over May 6 and 7, with some proper sun across Leeds on the Sunday. But while remaining warm, May 8 is set for heavy rain pretty much everywhere.
After a dry night, the heavy rain is setting in from 8am. That's accompanied by very dark clouds.

Those are lasting until just before midday, when the clouds are remaining fairly dark. However, there will be a few hours with respite from the rain.
It's forecast to start pouring again from around 3pm, with more heavy rain and dark clouds. That's lasting until around 6pm.
After that, the Met Office forecasts the weather is likely to dry up, though it's remaining cloudy until the end of the day. It'll still be warm though, with the day set to hit a maximum temperature of 16 degrees around 4pm.
The sun will rise at 5.18am and set at 8.49pm.
