Leeds schoolboy who died in tragedy at home named as Layth Maumoniat as tributes flood in for 'little prince'

Tributes are pouring in after a Leeds schoolboy sadly died while at home.

Layth Maumoniat, suddenly died in his family home earlier this week. The 12-year-old was a Year Seven pupil at Allerton High School in King Lane.

A spokesperson for Allerton High School confirmed they were told the student had died, but "haven't heard anything else" since then. They issued a brief statement on behalf of the school and said: "All we can confirm at the moment is that a young student, a year seven student, has died."
