Leeds Rhinos forward Zane Tetevano has been banned following his red card in the victory over Wigan Warriors. The New Zealand international was dismissed for a late tackle on Harry Smith, with referee Liam Moore stating he had also made contact with the head.
The Match Review Panel have agreed and slapped Tetevano with a two-match suspension, which will see him miss the Challenge Cup contest with Wigan Warriors and the Super League clash with St Helens a week later.
It was Tetevano's third red card in as many seasons for the club, though admittedly his first run-in with the disciplinary for some time. It was the sixth suspension of his Leeds Rhinos career, but a first in almost eleven months.

He is one of nine players suspended, with Matty Lees facing the longest suspension. The St Helens and England forward has been cited for Grade D striking and will have his case heard at a tribunal on Tuesday. According to the minutes, Lees has been cited for "Strikes with elbow/forearm – off ball,' with the incident described as reckless. Fellow Saint Curtis Sironen has been handed a one-match ban for Grade B dangerous contact. Both appear set to miss Friday's Challenge Cup clash with Halifax Panthers.
Liam Watts has been banned again after being cited for Grade B dangerous contact. He'll serve a one-match ban alongside Bureta Faraimo, with the Tigers pair both charged for the same offence.
Hull KR's Sauaso Sue has also been banned for one match, as have Hull FC's Scott Taylor, Huddersfield Giants' Nathan Peats and Wakefield Trinity's Kelepi Tanginoa.
