Leeds Rhinos player ratings as bench men stand out in Hull FC defeat

Richie Myler - 5: Less prone to an error this week but was part of a dysfunctional spine that offered nothing in attack for large periods.

David Fusitu'a - 5: His handling error from a high kick resulted in the first try and made another handling error in his own half. Produced the occasional strong carry and did finish his try well.

Nene Macdonald - 6: The most dangerous Leeds player on debut. Carried the ball with intent which saw him bust tackles and produced one clear line break. Defensively helped out a right edge that was messy the week before but a costly error at the end from which Taylor scored the winner.

Ash Handley - 5: Doing his best out of position, but doesn't look comfortable.

Derrell Olpherts - 4: Impressive last week but had an off night here with some poor handling errors.

Blake Austin - 6: Was again the man who appeared most likely to create something. His passes created the second-half breaks for Smith and Handley but he couldn't finish the latter off.

Aidan Sezer - 3: The organiser, but for so long Leeds looked rudderless. He was anonymous for large parts of this game. Late kick looking for Fusitu'a that was too long summed it up.

Tom Holroyd - 6: An improvement on last week, carrying the ball really strong and his contact defensively was better.

Kruise Leeming - 5: A mixed bag. Didn't look to be in sync with the halves at all at times during this game. Good support play for the try.

Zane Tetevano - 6: An understated performance but did play big minutes for his team and got through a lot of defensive work.

Rhyse Martin - 5: A very quiet evening for Martin and was partly at fault for the Adam Swift try, but flawless with the boot.

Morgan Gannon - N/A: Failed a HIA early and that was his night done.

Cameron Smith - 6: Another with a mixed bag. Some nice touches and got a try in and amongst some stuff he'll want to work on. But did well in the back-row overall.

Justin Sangare - 7: Thriving in his role as an impact sub. Made a real difference here with a swashbuckling carry providing the platform for Leeming's try.

Jarrod O'Connor - 7: Offered some impetus for the Rhinos off the bench and impressed during his stint.

James Donaldson - 4: Wasn't his night at all. A rare off night for a consistent performer.

Sam Lisone - 4: His coach has asked for time but he needs to markedly improve.
