Super League's primary sponsors, Betfred, have released the odds for this year's Man of Steel awards. After some early jostling in the market, it is perhaps no surprise to see Bevan French and Jack Welsby joint favourites this year at 10/1, with St Helens halfback Jonny Lomax also priced the same.
You have to go back to 2015 for the last time a Leeds Rhinos player won the prestigious award, with Zak Hardaker sweeping the award up during the club's famous treble-winning season. Prior to that, it was Iestyn Harris in 1998. Since then, we've seen players such as Ben Barba, Jackson Hastings and more recently, Brodie Croft earn the title.
Skip forward to 2023, and in the Rhinos corner, halfback Aidan Sezer is deemed the most likely of Rohan Smith's side to collect to award at 16/1. His halfback partner Blake Austin is priced at 25/1, and for the same odds, you can get the likes of Josh Drinkwater, Tommy Makinson and Matt Dufty.

Ireland star and Mr dependable Richie Myler is next on the list and could be worth taking a punt on at 33/1, with Papua New Guinea hero Rhyse Martin priced at 40/1. Wingers David Fusitu'a and Ash Handley are both priced at 50/1. We also have picked out a few notable former Rhinos. Ryan Hall of Hull KR is 40/1 as he chases down Danny McGuire's try-scoring record, Konrad Hurrell has the same odds, and Kallum Watkins and Brad Dwyer are long shots at 66/1.
Betfred set out their stall early and dubbed the Rhinos to reach the top six with ease, as Smith's men odds on at 2/5. Leeds are 7/1 to finish top of the pile during the regular season and 8/1 to lift the trophy at Old Trafford in October.
