Cameron Smith's new contract was the big news coming out of Leeds Rhinos on Wednesday after the Rhinos confirmed he had signed a new long-term deal until the end of 2026. However, more big details could soon be around the corner.
Within the club's press release on Smith the Rhinos made another announcement as they confirmed they would be revealing their squad numbers, in full, this Friday. However, the telling wording was that the club said they would be naming their squad numbers 'in full'.
Of course, that terminology would suggest that the Rhinos will be naming their full squad in the release and if that were to be the case, it would seemingly include a new addition to the squad. The Rhinos have made no secret of the fact that they have been pursuing a new signing, with both Rohan Smith and Gary Hetherington openly discussing their search for a new addition to complete their roster for next year.
