Aidan Sezer could make his long-awaited Leeds Rhinos return this Thursday. The Australian half-back is part of arguably the strongest match-day squad the Rhinos have been able to name all season ahead of their trip to face reigning Super League champions St Helens.
Sezer has been out for over two months with a groin injury, and has had to watch from the sidelines as Leeds have gone through a change of coach, with Rohan Smith replacing Richard Agar. But Sezer is in contention to return this week, giving Smith another welcome selection headache to ponder.
Sezer is not the only key returnee for Leeds from their last Super League game. Kruise Leeming will return after overcoming a bout of illness which saw him miss the trip to Huddersfield a fortnight ago, while James Bentley returns from his latest suspension to take his place in Smith's 21-man squad.

Harry Newman is included after coming through his return match against the Giants unscathed, while teenager Max Simpson comes in to replace Jack Broadbent, who has joined Featherstone on loan for the rest of the season ahead of a switch to Castleford Tigers in 2023.
There is also more good news on the horizon for Leeds, with Jack Walker close to a return as he moves through the stages of his return to play testing.
