Leon Ruan will make his professional debut for Leeds Rhinos in the Super League bout with Wakefield Trinity. Ruan, a former Trinity Academy talent, has been named on the bench in what is Rohan Smith's only change from last week's defeat to Castleford Tigers.
Derrell Olpherts makes way in a move that sees Liam Tindall promoted from the bench, with Ruan taking that final spot in the seventeen. Ruan, an off-season signing from Doncaster, impressed in the pre-season fixtures but has spent the year playing for the reserves and dual-reg partners, Bradford Bulls.
Richie Myler continues at halfback despite the recall of Jack Sinfield to the 21-man squad, with Ash Handley remaining at fullback. Nene Macdonald occupies the second wing spot. Tom Holroyd, Sam Lisone and Zane Tetevano are all notable absentees from the pack. Harry Newman, Aidan Sezer, David Fusitu'a and Morgan Gannon are also unavailable.
