Leeds Rhinos duo Richie Myler and James Bentley, plus Sydney Roosters star Luke Keary are in Ireland’s 24-man squad for the Rugby League World Cup 2021. Coach Ged Corcoran has called players up from 16 different clubs, including a dozen Super League stars and five NRL representatives while there could be as many as 15 debutants.
Hull KR’s George King captains the Wolfhounds who have secured a real boost with confirmation ex-Australia stand-off and NRL Grand Final winner Keary will line up in their colours.
Gold Coast Titans prop Jaimin Jolliffe is also included along with Canterbury hooker Josh Cook, Wests Tigers youngster Henry O’Kane and ex-Wakefield forward James Hasson who is on South Sydney’s books.

Harry Rushton, who has just left Canberra Raiders to join Huddersfield Giants, is in line for his Ireland debut in next month’s tournament which kicks-off with a game against Jamaica at Headingley on October 16.
