Leeds Rhinos draft in Wakefield Trinity youngster on short-term loan

Leeds Rhinos Rhinos Wakefield Trinity Wakefield Yusuf Aydin Rohan Smith France

Leeds Rhinos have added Yusuf Aydin to their squad ahead of the trip to Toulouse Olympique. The 21-year-old arrives from Wakefield on a two-week loan deal and is set to feature in France this week.

Leeds are missing Matt Prior, Zane Tetevano, Tom Holroyd and Muizz Mustapha through suspension, leaving the Rhinos short of pack options. A Turkish international, Aydin is off-contract at the end of the season and the deal gives the Rhinos an opportunity to take a closer look before potentially making the move permanent.

Aydin his played ten times for Wakefield since his debut in 2020 and has had spells at York City Knights and Sheffield Eagles.
