Leeds restaurant to feature in new ITV drama Platform 7 as it shuts for filming

A Leeds Indian restaurant will be featured in a new ITV drama.

The new show called Platform 7 is based on a novel written by Louise Doughty. It will air on ITVX and is said to be a "gripping" psychological thriller.

The Sheesh Mahal, which opened in Kirstall Road in 1990, was shut yesterday (November 22) as crews began filming there. The popular spot has won a number of awards over the years but this is the first time it will be seen on the big screen.
