Leeds residents say they are not proud of their city centre as they claim it's 'not safe at night'

A survey of Leeds residents has shown that the majority of people do not feel safe in the city centre at night and most people are not proud of the centre either.

According to a Leeds Live survey on the state of Leeds City Centre, 143 out of 206 respondents do not feel safe in the city centre at night. This comes out to 69% meaning only 31% do feel safe.

As a result, many have also said they do not feel proud of the city centre. A total of 67% said they were not proud.
