A man has been rushed to hospital after he was stabbed by a gang of men trying to steal his friend's electric bike in Leeds.
West Yorkshire Police were called to Garton Grove in East End Park at 4.36pm on Thursday, November 3, to reports of a stabbing. The victim, a 28-year-old man, was found with stab wounds to his arm and leg and was rushed to hospital.
His injuries are not considered life-threatening, a police spokesperson has confirmed. Officers say that he was attacked by a group of men that he had confronted after they tried to steal his friend's electric bike. They are now continuing enquiries to identify those responsible.

A spokesperson said: “At 4.36pm yesterday, police were called to a report of a man having been stabbed in an incident in Garton Grove, East End Park, Leeds. The victim, a 28-year-old man, was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment to stab wounds to his leg and arm, which were not considered life threatening.
“It was established that the victim had been assaulted by one of a group of males that he and a friend had confronted after they tried to steal the friend’s electric bike. Detectives from Leeds District CID are continuing enquiries to identify those responsible.
