Crime scene investigation (CSI) teams are combing a house for evidence this evening after the shock death of a man who was found dead inside a property in east Leeds.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police joined ambulance crews in descending on Wykebeck Mount in Halton Moor earlier today following a report that a man had been found dead at an address in the street.
A spokesman for the force said: "At 1.50pm today, police were contacted by ambulance service who had received a report of a male found dead at an address in Wykebeck Mount, Leeds. Officers attended and confirmed a man was deceased in the address. A scene is in place and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding his death."

The discovery of the man's body triggered a huge emergency services operation and the house remains under police guard. CSI officers in white suits were seen entering and leaving the property with the circumstances of the man's death still unclear.
