Leeds has become a lazy city due to Covid isolation and fear of going out to exercise

Only half of the children in Leeds are receiving a healthy amount of exercise, a new report shows.

The report, due to go before Leeds city councillors next week, details that 50 percent of children in the city do not get the recommended one hour of exercise per day.

This comes one year after a study was published that highlighted that the Covid-19 pandemic had caused people to get less exercise and lead more sedentary lifestyles.
