Leeds Get Baked bakery will send insulting messages on orders to customers for just £2 as part of new service

Leeds based bakery has announced it will send insulting messages on orders to customers for less than £2 following a rise in demand.

Get Baked UK made the announcement on social media saying it had reached a point where a lot of customers are requesting rude messages when they order. In a bid to keep up, Get Baked, known for their famous Bruces, will now offer custom messages - which the owner has to think of and write - as a £2 extra charge.

The post, which has so far received almost 5,000 likes, details the new service. It also highlights how 50 per cent of the money made will be shared with the entire bakery team and the other 50 percent will be donated to charity.

The bakery said: "We have now reached a point where a very large amount of our customers are requesting for me to write a message to accompany their nationwide order. I don't mean the generic "happy birthday" or "mazel tov on your divorce".

"I'm referring to completely custom messages, which normally require me to insult someone, and often take at least a few minutes of thought, and at most, an hours worth consideration whilst I eat my Greggs sandwich. As of next week, custom messages (meaning messages that require me to personally conjure them up) will be offered as a chargeable extra. I'm not entirely sure how much it will cost yet, although it'll likely be no more than £2.

"50% of all movies earned from custom messages will be shared amongst the entirety of the bakery team - they are not customer facing, so they don't receive any tips currently - which considering they bake all your s*** isn't on really.

"The remaining 50 percent will be donated to charity. A new charity will be selected every month.

"I hope you understand, and appreciate, firstly the necessity to charge, and secondly my motivations for doing so are entirely for the benefit of other people, and not me.

"I'm nice. But I'm also good at telling your boyfriend that he is a loser."
