Leeds Festival death: Boy, 16, who died named as David Celino from Salford

The family of a teenager who is believed to have died after falling ill after taking drugs at Leeds Festival have paid tribute to the 16-year-old.

David Celino, from Worsley, Salford, tragically passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning, August 28. He had been taken to hospital from Bramham Park, where the hit music festival was being held this weekend, on Saturday night after falling ill at the festival and appearing at the medical tent.

Now, David's family have paid tribute to the "beautiful" teenager, saying his death has left them "broken". A statement released on their behalf by West Yorkshire Police (WYP) said: "Our David was a beautiful, fiercely independent and warm character who lived every day at 110% and who loved to spend time enjoying music with his friends.
