Leeds Festival bosses have taken aim at some of the acts who have dropped out of this year’s event.
Last week, we saw a few major changes to the Leeds Festival 2022 line up. The 1975 were confirmed to take the vacant headline slot for Bramham Park and its sister event Reading Festival.
It became available following Rage Against The Machine’s withdrawal. This was because of an injury to frontman Zack de la Rocha.

The team, which also oversees sister event Reading Festival, are now working to replace big names Jack Harlow and Måneskin who have announced they will no longer be playing the two events.
Festival Republic, which oversees Leeds and Reading, posted: “We are saddened to hear that Jack Harlow and Måneskin have decided to perform at an award show the same weekend they were confirmed to play Reading and Leeds.
“We are working on some exciting replacements to join Arctic Monkeys, Dave, Bring Me The Horizon, The 1975, Halsey, Megan The Stallion, D-Block Europe, Pinkpantheress, Joy Crooks, Fontaines DC, Bastille, Willow, Wolf Alice, Glass Animals, Hybrid Minds and many others at Reading and Leeds Festivals this August bank holiday weekend - watch this space.”
Last week, previous headliners The Libertines teased they may be appearing at the two festivals. On Twitter, they posted “Two last minute UK shows to be announced very soon. Where are we heading?”
Lots of people are suggesting they will be appearing at Leeds Festival and Reading Festival.
