Leeds Festival 2022 line up, tickets, how to get there, banned items and more

Leeds Festival 2022 will welcome thousands of people to Bramham Park for the big annual party.

Six headline performances will be coming from Arctic Monkeys, Dave, Megan Thee Stallion, Rage Against The Machine, Halsey and Bring Me The Horizon. There are lots of other big names on the bill also.

Leeds Festival, and its sister event Reading Festival, will be happening Friday, 26 August and Sunday, August 28. Lots of people will be heading to the event and enjoying the music that August bank holiday weekend.

Banned items

Like any event, there are certain restrictions on what you can and can’t bring to the event. This is to ensure the safety of those attending and allow the festival to run smoothly.

In terms of bags in the arena area, they are required to be no bigger than A4 sized. This is also limited to one A4 sized bag per person in the arena.

Travel

You have a number of options to get to and from the Bramham Park site for Leeds Festival 2022. Most people who travel by train would arrive at Leeds Train Station then make their way to the festival ground from there. You can see the travel options below:

Car

There will be car parking spaces at the festival site which can be booked in advance. You can also arrive by taxi.

The designated taxi rank is based at Red Gate 1 this year. The fare from Leeds City Centre will be in the region of £25 – £40 in a hackney carriage car depending on the route taken and traffic levels. Leeds Festival also has an official partnership with Uber. You can find out more details here.

Bus

The shuttle bus service departs from outside Leeds Train Station in Sovereign Square Park. It will begin running at 9.30am on Wednesday, August 25. On Sunday night the shuttle bus runs from Branham Park all night until 6am.

One leg of the journey takes 45 minutes. The shuttle bus ticket can be purchased on the First Bus app.You can find out more information here.

Leeds Festival tickets

Weekend tickets for this year's festival have sold out - as have the Sunday day tickets.

At the time of writing day tickets for Friday and Saturday are still available - but could well sell out soon.
