A Leeds petrol station garage has put "a series of measures" in place after travellers arrived at a nearby playing field and trashed some toilets.
The travellers reportedly damaged and upended some mobile toilets, after breaking in to Red Hall Playing Fields last week. The council has issued the travellers a court summons to take place on Thursday, August 25.
The fields are located near Shadwell and Scarcroft, beside the A58 Wetherby Road. The closest shop is the Esso Euro Garages, on the major A-road, where the travellers have also been seen.

The petrol station has implemented special measures to protect the shop and its staff. Management is also helping the council with its enquiries.
The travellers were allegedly using hedges in the field to "do their business", so were given mobile toilets which have appear to have been upended and vandalised. The local authority provided the toilets to "minimise any environmental impact" left by the travellers.
An angry resident branded the whole incident "an absolute terrible fiasco," calling the council's expenditure and lack of deterrent a "joke". He claimed travellers have been ejected from the site multiple times before.
An EG spokesperson said: "We are aware of a number of issues that have occurred at the Wetherby Road site over the past week. We are supporting the council in its enquiry but for now have implemented a series of measures to prevent any further issues.
“We want to reassure our customers that the site remains open for business.”
