Despite the dry weather over the Easter weekend, Leeds is set to see heavy rain on Easter Monday.
There will a mixture of light and heavy rain spells throughout the day starting from 7am but this should clear before the nighttime. The Met Office predicts that the bank holiday will also be breezy, saying: "Rain clearing to occasional heavy showers. Breezy."
The rest of the week doesn't get much better in the north, with a long range forecast suggesting the weather will continue to be bleak and rainy, with potential for strong winds. However, the temperatures will remain higher than average for the time of year.
