Leeds City Council has issued an important bin collection update amid the extreme weather conditions which has seen record breaking temperatures in Yorkshire today.
People across Leeds have been urged to put out their bins before 6am as collections will begin early to allow bin crews to work in lower temperatures.
A spokesperson for the authority said collections will start at 6am and crews will not return to collect any bins put out after this time.

This update comes as it was also announced that Tropical World will close on Monday and Tuesday "to ensure the safety of visitors, staff and the animals" amid the red weather alert.
The authority has also stated that schools will remain open wherever possible to help keep children safe.
A statement from the authority states: “The Arium Café is closed but the Coffee POD will remain open. All other parks cafes will be open as usual but offering a reduced menu.
“Rough sleepers and those in emergency accommodation are urged to stay indoors as much as possible and seek shelter at St Anne’s or St George’s Crypt.
It continues: “As temperatures are expected to be even higher tomorrow, Household Waste and Recycling Centres will close at 12 noon on Tuesday, again with the exception of Kirkstall which will remain open as normal.
“All council libraries and community hubs will close earlier today and tomorrow at 4pm.
“Please check the temperature before you make any journey and be aware council services may close earlier in high temperatures.”
