Over the Bank Holiday weekend Leeds residents will be hoping to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III with street parties, picnics in the park and barbecues. However the weather is set to be unsettled this weekend.
Residents may need an umbrella as overcast conditions and light rain is expected for a number of hours across the city. Today (Saturday May 5) the day is expected to start out with bright and dry spells, as well as fog patches which will soon clear.
The Met Office predicts that rain and showers will prevail during mid-morning, which are expected to be heavy at times. Rain will clear northwards overnight. Temperatures are expected to reach highs of 18C.

Conditions will start out dry and bright from 6am until 9am. Temperatures will be around 11C and 12C before warming up to highs of 16C and 17C later in the day. The day will start out with 12C temperatures before warming up to 17C and 18C between 1pm and 7pm. The day will generally be dry and cloudy,.
Monday
The morning time will see highs of 12C. Light rain will prevail from 7am until 1pm. From 4pm until 7pm, there is a 70 percent chance of heavy showers.
