Leeds Bradford Airport flights cancelled as Storm Eunice wreaks havoc

Several flights to and from Leeds Bradford Airport have been cancelled due to Storm Eunice.

Arrivals and departures are both disrupted due to the heavy rain and very strong winds at the Yeadon airport.

So far, five arrivals and four departures have been cancelled as a result of the weather.

Six of these are journeys to or from Belfast, two to and from Amsterdam and one flight is from Southampton.

A Met Office yellow weather warning for wind is currently in effect in Leeds and across Yorkshire.

It will last until 6pm as 60 mph winds cause disruption to road and rail as well as air travel.
