Lee Keegan has sent a message to supporters as he took to social media for the first time since retirement.
Keegan decided to call it a day with Mayo after an illustrious career that saw him win a Player of the Year award and five All-Stars.
And with two young kids and turning 34 later this year, Keegan decided it was time to call it quits with his county.
And the defender took to social media for the first time since announcing his retirement.
He said: "Journey of a lifetime. Memories for a lifetime. Thank you. Over & out"
Kevin McStay will be dealt a blow with both Keegan and Oisin Mullin both stepping away from the panel in 2023.
Mullin has decided to go down under to pursue an AFL career.
